Harakati Za Muungano is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to African union, integration and policy reforms for speedy African development.
We work in the economic space, political space, socio-cultural space and relevant sectors to collapse physical colonial borders and eliminate trade barriers, to integrate institutions, to promote the development of African countries and to unite the people and countries of Sub-Sahara Africa.
Harakati Za Muungano was registered in “https://harakatizamuungano.org/registered” Ghana on 14-November-2023.
The general objectives of Harakati za Muungano are:
- Promoting Sociopolitical policy reforms.
- To push for progressive reforms and structural transformation in the educational, healthcare, housing infrastructural, energy and water resource sector.
- Promoting good political and economic policy reforms in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- To facilitate the Establishment of a Consolidated Union in Sub-Saharan
The Constitutional Objectives of Harakati za Muungano:
1. To actively work to establish a consolidated Union in Sub-Sahara Africa among all the people and countries in the sub-region desirous of forming a strong Union.
2. To collapse physical colonial barriers, eliminate trade barriers and work to produce a union constitution to establish a political union to develop Sub-Sahara African Countries.
3. To establish a strategic framework to magnetize diaspora African expertise, material resources and diaspora African financial resources into Sub-Saharan African economies to spur growth and promote sustainable development.
4. To effect deep structural changes and systemic reforms in the education sector, healthcare sector, energy sector, water resource sector, infrastructure development sector, political space, economic space and socio-cultural space in Sub-Sahara African countries to facilitate speedy Sub-Sahara Africa transformation and expedited development.
5. To promote in African countries a productive and inclusive consensus building system of government, protection of rights and freedoms and the free flow of information.
